Is there any truth in 

- Carrying high for Girls

- Carrying low for Boys

My friend's pregnant and already has 2 Girls, and is curious as to which sex she's having this time.. 

Just wondering, how you ladies are carrying and whether you think there is any truth in the wives tale.... :)

I've pretty much carried all of my kids high, and I have 2 of each, with another boy on the way.  My babies all tend to have heart rates of 140-160.  These things always have a 50/50 chance of being right! ;-)

I haven't seen that its true other than first carries different than second and sometimes that equals different sexes. I don't know what we are having this time (either now I know it was DS) and I'm carrying different but I think its due to muscle changes.

I do think there may be some truth to wives tales about skin and hair changes, but even those vary with each women (like great hair for some girls and some boys, but consistent across that mom's boy or girls)

I've carried low both times.  The first one was a girl, and so is this one.

My friend carried very high with her first one and it was a boy, and is lower, but still fairly high this time, and it's a girl.

I carried my first high (girl) and my second very low, round and all the old wives tales of being a boy...she's a girl.  I think it's just the pregnancy, but I'm sure some cases it will be true!

First daughter I carried very high second was very low.  I think it is an old wives tale just like the heart rate and heartburn ones.

I always have carried very low. I have 4 girls and 1 boy.

i guess my daughter was relatively high, until she dropped..  i can' tell with this one. it seems its in the middle lol

i don't think there is..... and i have heard it said the other way..... same with the heart beats... both my boys were high heartbeats usually over 160 this one has been under 160. ( this one is less active) i think i'm carrying higer this time.. but i'm not 100% sure.. I have two boys already.

coming up to birht though they were low low low.... but i also know a lady who had a boy recently and she carried quite high

My boy (first child) was up in my ribs.  In the car I had to hang onto the handle that's on the ceiling to be comfortable.  My 2nd daughter (3rd child) I thought might just fall out (oh, to be so lucky ).  I don' t know how I looked to the outside world, but he sure felt high and she sure felt low.  The middle child was, I guess, in the middle :)
