Baby with crazy curly hair, help!

My 7 month old has crazy curly hair that is just getting longer and longer and starting to get into her eyes. I am at a total loss for how to manage it, as my first had straight hair and we just cut her bangs when it got too long. But this time around I don't want to do bangs and her hair is so nuts I don't even think they would work. Clips and ponytails don't work - they don't stay in and they look ridiculous since whatever is not in the clip/pony is still crazy all over the place. It is getting in her eyes all the time and now food is getting into her hair too. Any other mamas of curly hair babies? What do I do with it? Here is a pic from about a month ago so it has only longer:

Headbands!! Stretchy headbands can hold curls back. Also, I think a little hair tie to make a sprout on top of her head would be adorable, but that may be just me! LOL

My DD has curly crazy hair, and I finally took her to a pro for a haircut. Normally, I like long hair on girls, but hers was out of control! So now she has the hair around her face short, and just a little longer in the back. Cutting it saved both our sanities.

I myself have quite curly hair, so I am hoping Cecilia's is curly too when it gets longer. I know all about curly hair care! LOL

My two youngest have hair like that.  The 6 yo now has Shirley Temple hair.  My hair is the same way.  Sorry to say I still can't figure out what to do with it.  Those small ouchless rubberbands help if you want to put a little bit of it back, but my kids prefer their hair down.

She's beautiful, btw!

I have curly hair, as does DP.  DS's curls right after a bath are almost as small around as a pencil.  I hope you can raise her to love her curls.  It took me many, many years to love mine.  Try naturally curly.com.  That's where I learned.
