Dollar Tree HPT? Disappearing positive?Has this happened to you?

Hi Everyone,

I took a Dollar Tree (New Choice) hpt yesterday (on 11 dpo) with FMU. For my surprise two lines came up straight away!! it  never happened to me before. The test line was nice, bright red in color....but in a minute it started fading away but it was still noticeable....and then in 2 min the line was gone..:-( After the test completely dried I could see a very faint line. So I run out to get a pack of FRER and one of the two tests did the same....a very weird, faint line showed up right away and then disappeared...the other one was negative....and unfortunately the test(dollar store) I did today morning was negative as well.....So what was it then? A faulty test?

I don't know. I've never had that happen. All of my $ store tests still show positive. (even DS)

maybe you are just seeing the dye run across where the line would show up if positive? I would pee and put the test down and walk away and look again at 5 minutes and if you see a colored line then congrats!

It's happened to me a couple of times that the pee running across the test line shows pink immediately but then fades within the first minutes. Not DT -- ICs that had other issues. I was not pregnant.
