I had a great moment last night with my 10 month old DS. He was on the bed sleepy but not going to sleep and just looking at me, then he started fussing a little and I asked "do you want to go potty?" - he got all excited, flapped his arms and made affirmative noises, we went to the potty got a big pee and his dipey was dry.Â
He was thrilled that mom finally got what he meant.
It was a huge moment for me because we EC part time and he doesn't have very strong "I need to pee" signal so we have lots of misses. However, he prefers going to the potty and will hold it and wait for me to get it.
So I'm hoping we're getting our communication part better established and will have more dry dipes soon. Yay! :joy :joy :joy

It's so awesome and rewarding when the communication is so clear. Makes it so worth it :)
