Sit and Stand Stroller?

I'm expecting DS2 in March.  DS1 will be about 21 months.  I will probably carry DS2 for a while, I imagine, but I'm wondering if eventually I will find a stroller for both of them useful.  Does anyone have any experience/opinions about this??  Do you just make your toddler walk?  Do you carry the infant and push the toddler?  Or is a sit and stand-type stroller useful??

My boys are 22 months apart.  I was offered a double stroller and I turned it down.  I already had 3 strollers at that point and didn't want to bother with another.  We decided to get the buggy board.  I wanted that because I really love my ABC design stroller I picked up in Germany.  It's got the huge off-road wheels and a great suspension.  I generally use my stroller off road, so that was a huge deal to me.  I can attach the buggy board and DS1 loves to ride around on it. 

The buggy board is OK with my Graco umbrella-style stroller.  The handle doesn't come back as far, so it's a bit more awkward for me to push it.  I have to adjust my stride when using the buggy board.  I will use that anytime I think it might be too much walking for DS1.  We took a 2 week trip to DC and Colonial Williamsburg.  We did a lot of walking on that trip and DS1 got tired of standing.  That has been the only time I really wished we had a sit and stand. 

If I had the decision to make again I would definitely still choose the buggy board.  I love it! It fits my needs so much better than a sit and stand would.

My kids are 18 mths apart. I thought I would wear the baby and push DD. When DSwas 3 weeks old we went and bought a phil and teds. I totally considered the sit and stand, but I decided I needed somewhere where i could basically strap DD in for busy places - malls etc. In our experience DD is not old enough to use that kind of thing because she mainly rides. That said, I know other kids who are a bit older who mainly walk.

Do I understand correctly that the buggy board is only for standing??

Mine are 26 months apart and I got a lot more use out of the double buggy than I was expecting. I found being able to strap DD was very useful, I'm not sure how we would have handled the tantrums coming away from the park or wherever without being able to strap her in and give her a snack. We did buy a buggy board but DD didn't like standing on it when she was worn out so it didn't work that well for us.

I was expecting to be able to carry DS and use a single buggy but actually found that quite hard on my back. It was actually eaiser when DS was a little older and could go on my back.

we love our sit and stand, but my dd3 was 3yr 9mo when dd4 was born.  i'm glad we got it and i've put many a mile on it walking to get dd3 from pre-k, the zoo, the mall, on vaca.  dd4 doesn't really love the sling, so the stroller was/is perfect.  we got ours at target for $139 and it was worth every penny.
