It is circumcisin propaganda.
Europe with it's intact males has far less HIV than the US with it's mostly circumcised males.
By misleading people into circumcising to prevent HIV we will only increase it. It must be dealt with in a truthful manner not with distortions.
But we can all think for ourselves. Just look at all the industrialized western nations. Which country has the most HIV and are they intact or circumsised?
The answer is the US.
For decades we used circumcision to prevent all sort of illnesses. Yet they were all lies, none were preventable by the removal of the foreskin.
Let's not be brainwashed any longer. It just doesn't make sense.

| Some researchers have recommended male circumcision as a means to prevent the spread of HIV. |
They should be focusing on the real ways to protect against HIV and quit focusing on cutting off parts in order to do so. Grr.

This is an old story that has just been dredged up and recycled. It has been thoroughly refuted and discredited before. Notice how they give precious little factual information about the actual research and no links to the research at all. It is indeed propaganda and is being used to scare people into circumcising their children.
It reminds me of a local funeral home that will give you a free funeral if you register with them that you are going to be drinking and driving on New Years Eve. Likewise, to circumcise to gain some protection from HIV/AIDS is like saying "I'm going to be having sex with infected people, give me marginal protection."

PS: One more post to 1,000! Never would have believed it! :LOL

Guess what? This headline ran across the bottom of headline news 1-2X an hr !
what was that all about?
This info coming out of London where circ in NOT highly practiced confuses me.
I really do not understand how this make a big difference with HIV transmission.
This whole (no pun intended) article bothers me immensely
