Looking for a lead on a specific type of pj's/outfits...

My son is about as size 24mos in carter's outfits.

I'm looking for a one peice, fleece, front zip/no snaps, footless outfit. Attached or detachable hoodie would be a big plus.

So basically one of these:

without the feet (and plus hood). It's a plus if it could pass as an actual outfit for outside instead of just pajama's.

Here's this from Hanna Andersson: Link

And this one, but it is cotton, not fleece. Same with this one.

LL bean makes one too: Here.

wow! Thanks mama's!  not to be picky, but I was hoping to find something that wasn't outerwear, and more in the 10-15 dollar range. Maybe ds has jsut outgrown the one peice outfits, though.

Have you considered taking Carter's fleece footie pjs and cutting the feet out? There is elastic at the ankles...you could probably just sew the fabric over, or it may not need sewing at all. It won't solve the hood issue, but it might be worth a try. shrug.gif

Are the no snaps a big deal?  Because Carters makes exactly what you are looking for hood and all for about eight bucks...but with snaps.

I cut the feet out of some of the Carter's fleece jammies right below the elastic, and they're working great! We were just having issues with dd slipping on the floors and she just doesn't like anything on her feet. I didn't sew anything, but the fleece doesn't ravel. I don't think I'd use them as regular clothes, as I think they really look like jammies, but you definitely could.

Those are the ones we have now. That's exactly what I want, but with the zips. Basically, it's a huge tantrum + tears + kicking mama in her belly to get DS dressed. I'm sick of it. His halloween costume was like I describe-- footless and with a zipper, with a giant longhorn hoodie on it, and was so much easier to get on! Seriously, like 2 minutes of giggles vs 15 of tears.

I never even thought of doing this, but it's a great idea!!! I can sew ok, so it shouldn't be an issue.

I do agree that the pj's look like pj's whereas the carter's ones with the snaps look like they could be worn outside. but oh well. i'm all about function over fashion.
