Weak Bladder?

Thread Starter

For years now I have delt (poorly) with constant urination. Sometimes I pee before I even know I have to pee. It's annoying to say the least, and embarrassing. I'll get the sudden urge to use the bathroom and 9 times out of 10 I'll leak before getting to the bathroom. A few times I have gotten out of the car and just ended up urinating on myself. So far I have not had to leave work because of it, but I am so close to purchasing Depends.

I am about 150 pounds overweight (or so says the weight chart), but I have been overweight all my life and this problem only started in the last 5 years or so. I'll be 40 this coming month (if that matters). I should drink more water for sure.

Any tips or suggestions?

My mom just had a surgical procedure where they put a "sling" up under the urinary tract to help with the leaking issues. She LOVES it and is no longer peeing herself when she laughs, coughs, sneezes, or steps off a curb.

For now you could just try panty liners.....not depends! LOL

I have interstitial cystitis so I am no stranger to bladder problems myself.

I would encourage you to look into posture/exercise.
