Welcome to Charlottesville! Our favorite activities, especially when the kids were younger were:

-ride the free trolley. there are stops all around the Downtown Mall, we usually get on the one right outside of Christian's Pizza. It goes around in a big circle and returns where you start. Round trip time about 45 minutes.

-activities at the different library branches. go to www.jmrl.org and click on Programs and then choose kids. It will list all the different activities going on, usually they are free, at the different branches.

-Discovery Museum on the Downtown Mall

-Greenleaf Park if the weather is nice

-Barracks Rd shopping center if the weather isn't great. Lots of covered walkways to get the wiggles out, fun things to look at in Michael's and Barnes and Noble.

Have fun visiting!
