my son is 11 months old. he's been on solids since 6 months. that process has been a breeze - he loves all foods we've tried, and has had no adverse reactions. HOWEVER -- what used to be easy-to-deal-with firm poops have gone gradually away, replaced with semi-solid poop explosions (we call them explosi-poops). these are basically the same consistency as the food that's going in - mushy with chunks (sorry to be so graphic
, but i want an answer). these occur about 2x a day, and usually necessitate a change of clothes.Â
Â
is this normal? if so, when can we expect things to "firm up" again?
Â
he has no GI discomfort, and he is thriving.
Â
his diet is basically mushy fruits and veggies, cereals, lots of yogurt and cottage cheese, water, and my milk.Â
