Pap Smear/annual during TWW???

I scheduled my exam for this week-It will be 7 days after ovulation? Is this ok? Will it have any negative effect on my chances of becoming pregnant or implantation?

Given that a Pap test only removes a very small sample of cells from the outer surface of the cervix, there should be no way for it to interfere with implantation. You shoud be quite safe in having it done.

PAP tests are supposed to be safe during pregnancy, however I personally plan to avoid having one done during the 2WW/ first trimester as my cervix is very sensitive and I tend to bleed a lot every time I get one done!

I would waint untill I knew for sure one way or the other just becuse Im paranoid like that . I dont think there is a risk to pregacny though midwife offered a pap at my 9 week vist last pregancy
