Could there be two in there??

I can't shake the idea that I have two babies in my belly, so I checked out my 11 week ultrasound again and I think I may be right. At one minute, 30 seconds, looks like 2 sacs to me. (I don't think it's my bladder because I had just peed) Then at 1:50 I think she switches to a second baby. Am I crazy? This is my first pregnancy so I don't have much experience with ultrasounds. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think it's just one, the way they move the wand, really changes where and how the view appears on screen.

But I'm not an expert.

It's pretty rare for them to miss a 2nd baby on ultrasound.

When I had my scan they kept changing the view so that it was lateral, posterior, anterior, etc.  They change a lot of the positions to get different measurements and see different organs so that may be why it seems like 2.

When I had my suspicions of multiples, I did a lot of research and read tons of stories about when the moms that did have them first found out and I read at least 10 out of about 50 where the 2nd was missed on ultrasounds before 12 weeks then they went back in at 20 weeks for the gender only to find out they were having 2!.  Never heard of them missing it after 12 weeks though.  It does happen especially if they arent looking for it but usually they see it.  Its more likely when they are in the same sac and are in spooning position.  So, anything is possible but if they did a nice thorough scan its unlikely, but like I said, not impossible:)

Thanks for the input, ladies! The ultrasound was at 11 weeks. So kind of early, but not really. I realize it's unlikely, but it's fun to wonder :) The main reason I'm wondering is because it was not an ultrasound tech who did the scan and the scan was only done because she couldn't find a heartbeat via doppler. So it wasn't too thorough, just wanted to see a heartbeat. And my belly seems big for a first pregnancy. We'll see at the 20 week scan for sure. Thanks for humoring me!

i still have a feeling there is 2 in my belly, and i keep having twin dreams, my 7 week u/s they only saw one, but keep thinking they will see the sec baby at my 20 week u/s

i have a strong twin feeling also but my scan showed just 1 plus i've had this feeling with all my lo's so is probably nothing
