My 8 week old spends 90% of the day in a baby carrier and sleeps the whole time. I try to encourage some activity when she is awake, but she can usually only stand about 15 minutes 2xs a day before getting fussy and going back in the carrier. When she is in the carrier she is sound asleep. Is she sleeping too much? Will she be able to spend more time in her bouncer or on my lap soon? I know each baby is different, but any previous experience or advice would be great!

My DS spend most of the time sleeping for the first 2+ months of his life. Especially if he was worn. He really woke up and wanted to interact with the world around 3 months of age. Then he was really upset because he couldn't do much yet.
Then he learned to manipulate his hands and it was much easier after that. The bottom line, I think it's ok for a baby that age to spend most of the time sleeping on mama. As long as she is growing and is healthy I wouldn't worry. Enjoy the snuggles. (just my 2 cents of course)
