Things are going pretty slowly for me too.. im not even sure im in labour at this point but with all of the bloody show and mucous plug i think its going to be pretty soon. and i havnt had regular strong, contractions like this since last time i was in early labour, so.. fingers crossed for both of us!

any update catie???

i had another big gush of clear fluid a few minutes ago.. i was just standing up and it went through my undies, pants and skirt.. not sure if its my waters or not at this point, but i think there is a good chance. this has never happened in my past 3 pregnancies.. so i dont have anything to compare it to. still having pretty regular, but still not what i would call painful, contractions.. probably every 4 minutes? im also feeling very wide awake.. im usually So tired at this time of night... my house is pretty tidy and there is a fire on and its clear and cold. it wouldn't be a bad night for a baby at all!

i just called my midwife to give her a heads up and she offered to come check to see if she can determine if its amniotic fluid, but i told her i would call her once my kiddos are in bed. its just 7:30 here.

Well, contractions stopped after I went to bed last night. On the plus side, I got a pretty good night's sleep. I am still losing chunks of mucous plug with blood in it. I am trying to stay positive.. at least all the work my body did yesterday is less I will have to do during "real" labor, right?

I go in to see my MW at 10. She is going to check me again, probably do another stretch/sweep.. evaluate my cervix and possibly give me the "birth drink" cocktail to take this afternoon. Crossing my fingers that I've made some progress and that we have a baby today!!!

great appointment this morning.. I'm 4-5 cm and 80%. lots of progress made yesterday. She gave me the "birth drink" and i'm going to take it this afternoon. Should be holding a baby by this evening. :)
