Clomid - what to expect?

I was just recently prescribed Clomid, because I've been off BC for a year without conceiving, and I have had a lot of spotting in my LP, which my doc thinks is a LP defect. 

I was just wondering what are your experience with Clomid??  What should I expect? 

Any input would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

I took it.  allong with provera, it did what it was supposed to do after the second month.  I too had been off BC for almost a year and never really got my normal period back. 

There is a slight chance of conceiving twins while on chlomid, and my hairdresser did just that.  So keep that in mind.

Thanks for the response... which days did you take the clomid?  I think I'm supposed to start on CD3.  Did it take you long to get pregnant after it started working in your body? 

My periods are pretty regular - it's just the spotting that has my doctor concerned (had to switch doctors, because my pervious doctor wasn't concerned AT ALL with spotting starting at 7dpo).
