My kids and I have been eating TF gradually for about 2 years. This summer we went organic and are now getting raw milk. About a month ago I started really cutting back on our grains because my 2 yr old seems to have diarrhea problems possibly gluten related. I try to only serve sourdough or soaked grains. My kids have never been sick beyond a 24 hr bug and always had iron stomachs that could handle even the spiciest foods I make. But this past month since I started limiting grains all of a sudden any little treat like a regular cookie from the farmers market, a friend's bday cake or a fast food meal if we get caught in town unplanned and they end up puking ALL NIGHT LONG. This has happened 4 times in the past month now. Puking like every 20 minutes for the entire night and half of the next day. What have I done?! I wanted to make them healthier but I seem to have just made healthy kids become sick. =( What can I do to fix this??

They only get sick after they consume grains? Or are they puking with other foods as well?
It could be that the healthier your kids become, the less tolerant their bodies become towards unhealthy foods. Maybe you don't see a difference outwardly, but perhaps their immune systems have become strong enough to immediately reject gluten or other harmful things, rather than the usual delayed reaction due to a suppressed immune system.Â
Gluten sensitivities are very common, and in my opinion seriously under-diagnosed.
