the most insane cycle ever, I need your help in discovering what it could mean!

I need some serious input here.  I feel like I'm losing my mind!  Some plain facts first.  I am 23, DH is 25.  I already have a 27 month old WONDERFUL son named Aiden whom I had from a previous relationship.  DH and I weren't TRYING per se, but we weren't NOT trying either.  Just letting things happen.  This last cycle has been the most insane thing EVER!  I don't get it at all.  I don't temp right now or take anything, I just kind of log what's happened in FF.  My last period was Oct 4th-9th (short, for me, usually 8 days-9 days).  And pretty heavy.  DH and I have only BD'd 3 times in that time (2 year old always wanting to sleep w mommy :) ), and I have yet to receive AF.  It's cycle day 45 now... November 17th.  I thought I was pregnant, and must've O'd at a normal time.. and used up 3 spare FRER's.  All negative.  Still no period, no symptoms...    Shortly after that, starting around a week ago... I started getting sore nipples, and peeing more frequently.  Sore nipples after a few days turned to full blow gigantor boobs!  Now, I never got sore nips or bbs before my periods in my life except the last 3 or so cycles.  (SO WEIRD)  So I guess I just expected AF.  Still to this day, nothing.  Serious cramping, nausea, dizzy spells, hungry but not wanting to eat.  I thought for sure I was preggo.  Took a test last night, NEG.  took another FRER this morning, DH swears he can see a line, but after ripping it open, I really think it's Evap.  This means I would've had to have O'd at cd 31 or beyond!!  Do you think I might be pregnant?  I feel almost the same way I did with DS.... but I keep getting negatives.  I have one FRER to take tomorrow.  Any one else experience such an odd thing?  I think I would've had to have O'd around the 6th when DH and I last BD'd.. meaning I was like 11 DPO.. so I still could get a positive ?? Thanks in advance for your help :(

Oh.. and all my friends and family are starting to think I'm crazy!

I think for you to have such drastic symptoms you would be much farther along and getting dark lines on an HPT. most pregnancy symptoms are also common pms symptoms. Now re: the potential line on the FRER, if you are only about 11dpo then a faint line would be reasonable at this point. So you def COULD be preggo. Good luck taking the test tomorrow! Keep us posted! :)

That's just the thing, I thought the same... that's why I am so confused.  But before AF I almost never get any symptoms, except cramps.  I will keep you updated, definitely!

I had a cycle just like this a couple months ago. Pre-AF cramping, nausea, food aversions, everything -- I thought for sure I was pregnant (and I knew when I ovulated & we were trying!) but I kept getting BFN's... I ended up getting AF really late (& it was a rough one when it finally showed!) During that time I did a lot of informal 'research' and based on that I would guess that you are not likely pregnant, realistically if your symptoms are that strong & not due to PMS, you would be getting BFP's.... But there's always that small bit of hope!! Good luck!

I am just finishing up a super long and wacky cycle - and like you, had all these symptoms that made me think I was pg.  Weird symptoms that I never usually get.  I even had a "feeling" I was pregnant.  I was SURE I had ovulated (had O pain and all), although my temps were erratic - which is mostly due to poor, interrupted sleep though.

Anyways, kept getting BFNs and couldn't figure it out.  Then, within a span of a day or so, I had REAL ovulation symptoms, and my temp jumped clearly.  So here I thought I was pg, and turns out I hadn't even ovulated!  In spite of DTD at the right time, still no pg and I am finishing up AF right now.  My actual ovulation ended up being on CD 59 or something ridiculous like that.  You definitely can have an extremely delayed ovulation.  My cycles are normally quite regular so that is very abnormal for me.

So, blah blah blah, all this to say to you - try taking your BBT in the morning.  If it's low, I would bet you haven't even ovulated.  If it's high, then at least you know you likely did ovulate, and can keep testing until you get a BFP or AF.  Almost all of us have an anovulatory and/or loooooong cycle with delayed ovulation at some point or another.  Good luck, it is so frustrating to not know what's going on!!
