Texas has only licensed /regulated sincle the 1980s.

Traditional Midwifery is the name of my midwife friend's business - she's been at it for years and I think often has almost too much work.  We are in a very small community and she's always got lots of women calling for her help.  I think it is a lovely and descriptive name!
