Thanks for the feedback, ladies.

This bothers me.
Someone who opposes nursing in public now might not have kids yet, and when they do, they might decide not to pump at work, or not to use donor milk, since they think they won't be able to handle transporting breastmilk. A little rewording might help out a "dumb" mama in the long run. Just my $0.02.

Awesome post otherwise!!

Well that was awesome!

On the pumped milk and shelf life, the current recommendations are up to 4 hours out is "ideal" , with 6 hours being "acceptable" so I think her phrasing of " more than a couple hours" is pretty much correct. This info comes straight from the LLL

You brought tears to my eyes. I always thought I would be super confident in Bf in public but when I had my baby I became very Afraid of nursing in public for fear of being rejected. Two months after my daughter was born I was visiting my in laws for thanksgiving we were all siting around the table and my dh said" I think she is hungry" with the click of my nursing bra everyone was out of the room. I felt so hurt and disgusting and obscene. I grew up around Breastfeeding so I amrather embarrassed to be one of the mom's who have been in hiding. But I am going to try not to anymore. You made me want to wake my baby up from her nap, take her to the park and nurse her in front if everyone...

Hey everyone at the mostly probably bortle fed playground in nj that's right I still Bf my 18 month old and I am proud of it.

Many many many heartfelt thanks!
