sensitive 7 yo

Hi-

My dd has an amazing quality of empathy and emotional sensitivity as well as superb memory.  The other day she recalled an accurate memory from when she was an infant.  This memory she recalled I had not talked about.  I had always learned that people cannot hold memories before the age of 2.  I am not sure where I am going with this, but the sensitivity is misunderstood by a lot of people.  I am seeking ways to foster her in learning and life. 

Does any one have experience raising a more sensitive child? Book references?

She sounds very special.  I'm glad she has a mother who can recognize and appreciate her special qualities.
