Resolved: All new posts.

it is new posts but the same ones over and over again every time i go to the next page to see more. then if i click on a thread to read it, and then try to go back to new posts, the new posts page is refreshed. i want to look at one list of new posts. if i want to refresh the list i would click the all new post button again. but i dont. i want to read ALL the new posts as they are the one time i asked for them.

The New Posts are not session based. They are forum activity based. New posts are coming in so fast that it's bumping the others down and onto the next page load. This is the way the feature is built to work.

One thing you can try is using the activity feed version of the All New Posts page. It's a very different view and actually will load different pages of threads onto the same page. It also won't auto-refresh each time you click the "More" button so it should be a little bit easier to take a look at the activity without having to scan through the repeats. Instead, when new content has been posted, a little refresh icon will appear at the top of the activity feed. This will allow you to selectively refresh the feed to see the new content pulled in at the top.

Another option is to subscribe to the RSS feed for MDC or for individual forums.
