Performance: Bah, not so well. The material kind of smothers the baby, yet at the same time, the material isn't long enough for a good kangaroo carry or hip carry. I didn't feel safe with this sling because the rails are not independently adjustable.... so I couldn't get teh top rail tight enough. I have used it with my 3yo nephew and my 15mo dd (several times in her life). It is the least-used sling that I own. I found nursing in it to be a big joke.

How long have you used this product? I used it for about 3 months with my second baby.

Fit/Sizing: Terrible. This sling has an engineering problem in that the padding on the outer rail comes up too far, so that it can never be properly tightened. In general, the sizing runs large to begin with.

Performance: Not good. With a newborn who likes the cradle carry and doesn't mind being down in the fabric, it doesn't seem that bad, although it took me a month to figure out how to get him in a position he'd tolerate. But once he got bigger, it was hard to do any other positions because the outer rail was always so loose. And it's just so bulky and hot. Yuk!

Fit/Sizing: Couldnt get the rings tight enough, and when I did, they'd slip and she'd be hanging to my knees. Way to bulky.

Performance: The rings always slid, couldnt adjust the top rail so it always felt very flimsy, and carrying on the hip seemed to be dangerous with the top rail so loose.

Additional Comments: There was way too much padding in this sling. I also don't like the tail idea of it. The shoulder cap was just too much fabric and just a poorly designed sling. I bought this becuase it was a "dr. Sears" product and it was just the most difficult sling to adjust. I never felt like I could get a snug enough fit. It's good for older babies 1 year and up. When you don't need as snug of a fit. I just think if they didn't have the tail and made it more like the maya it would be better.

Fit/Sizing: I agree with kimberlylibby, one size fits none

Performance: Poor. Although the padding is not as huge, the shoulder not as poofy and the overall look not as goofy as the OTSBH, there are still major design flaws with this sling. I couldn't get my 3-month-old any higher than flapping around near my waist. The padding prevented any real ability to customize the fit, or contour the fabric snugly around baby's body. The rings made any adjustment a struggle. I also don't think the much-trumpeted "safety bar" at the end of the tail makes much sense, since if the sling has slipped out of the rings all the way down to the end of the tail, baby more than likely has fallen out already!

Additional Comments: I bought this sling with my first since it was cheaper price than the OTSBH. It worked for me and introduced me to slinging. I think if I had gone with the OTSBH the padding would have overwelmed me. After my baby got heavy over 18lbs it was not as comfy.

Additional Comments: This was my first try at babywearing and it really set me back. I still have a fear of ring slings! My daughter was overwhelmed in the fabric and never felt secure. the sling is not as adjustable as most and is to heavily padded to try to nurse.

i liked the sling when baby was newborn. Has nice padded edges. I wrapped her in it in the hospital at night so she could sleep with me in the narrow hospital bed. Also, it is a quick thing to throw her in if I have to for a few minutes. But after that, it HURTS. Plus, you can't wear it on your back, so it is never handsfree.

Additional Comments: I had it on wrong at first and I wonder if that's why so many people have complaints. It was killing my back when I had it on wrong and the padding was overwhelming my 2 month old baby. Once I got it positioned right we both enjoy it. It does feel a tad bulky and there isn't much room for my 2 month old to cradle in so I don't think it will last long. I'm considering getting an unpadded ring sling now like the maya. I like the concept of a sling, this one just has some problems.
