My DH fondly remembers a cookie from his childhood, and I cannot find a recipe anywhere.  He describes them as chocolate chip cookies with added chinese noodles.  I suppose I could just wing it.... and see what happens.  But I hate to waste all those good ingredients if it doesn't work. 

 

Any searches just turn up "haystack" cookies or "no bake" cookies .... where melted chocolate or butterscotch covers various ingredients like the noodles, nuts, etc.

 

Has anybody heard of this cookie?  Or anything similar?
