Homemade goodies....gift giving storage ideas?

This year for Christmas we're giving all the aunts & uncles & grandparents a basket of homemade goodies.   My thoughts are to make buckwheat pancake mix, herbal tea blends & hot cocoa.  But what should I store them in?  I thought about Mason jars but that's too small for the amount of pancake mix each family will get.  And I'd really rather give these items in air tight bags, of some sort.  I'll probably order tea bags from Mountain Rose but what should I put the pancake mix & hot cocoa in??  Ideas?

Last year a made several of these newspaper baskets http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2009/06/newspaper-basket.html and filled them with baked goodies. We wrapped the goodies themselves in wax paper and tied with ribbons. Cellophane bags would have been nice but I couldn't find any.

That basket is beautiful!  I bookmarked the site & will be trying this.  Thanks!  And I'll probably just put the mixes in ziploc bags & try to make them look pretty somehow.

I bought a bunch of the bags they use for bulk coffee to use for things like that.

Do you have a link?  I thought about getting the lined bags may tea places sell but they seem too small for  pancake mix.  But when you say bulk, I'm wondering if they're larger than the ones I've seen.  Thanks!
