almost 3 and still breasteeding :)

Just wanted to share why I'm happy I'm still breastfeeding my almost-three year old... 

She got her first case of pink eye this weekend. Started Friday afternoon. Called the pedi, but they were about to close...they were willing to fit me in but I was really sick with a bad cold (maybe the flu) and really didn't want to drive 30 minutes to get antibiotic drops. Anyway, I googled it and sure enough, breast milk is good for pink eye! So I'm treating with breast milk over the weekend, and we'll see how she's doing on Monday. 

DD is not a fan of breast milk in her eyes though. :( "I don't like mommy milk in my eyes!" she said. "I like mommy milk in my mouth!"
