I'm writing on behalf of friends whose baby is in NICU in St L. Does the city/area have any support groups, or other resources for info and support for such families? Also, it is possible their baby will suffer longterm issues/delays (not clear yet)--they may be needing info on parenting Special Needs baby/child...while they are in the city (at least for another few days/week, maybe longer--their home is a few hrs away), are their people/groups/resources they might look into? They are at a fantastic hospital, and have all the basics for now lined up (lodging, food, etc)--but are eager to learn all they can about making the best of this situation for their baby and themselves. Any links to info would be much appreciated.
