The Fabulous ONE THREAD for November 21st - 27th, 2010 - Page 3

I have a friend on FBook that's 6 weeks into her first pregnancy and she just started getting morning sickness.

She gave my woman parts a pep talk so they'd catch a +++ soon. LOL

I'm CD12. O should be happening at any time...

Delurking! Hi, anyone who happens to remember me. I haven't been in this thread in probably 6 months. Looks like a lot of BFPs have happened in here this fall :) so hopefully the rest of you will follow soon.

I had a decent first beta on Weds....now I'm waiting for a phone call tomorrow to (please!please!please!) give me Friday's results and tell me the numbers doubled appropriately.

My progesterone level sucks, so I'm supplementing now. I'm worried that means things are going poorly in there. I have very little in the way of symptoms. I want more symptoms! Anything to make me believe...

Man. I am so nervous. So worried.

What was your progesterone level?  I ask because I have had REALLY low progsterone (6.7 at 7dpo) and I successfully kept a pregnancy (until 12 weeks at least) My other pregnancies have been really low progesterone too...dd2 I had about a 15 and I was on 300mg of prometrium at that point!  So don't count yourself out. :)

Val:  GOOD LUCK!  :D  I'll be stalking you!

Me:  Clomid side effects are sucky.  Except for one:  this time I'm super horny REALLY early in my cycle! (I'm cd5!!)  That never happens, and dh is excited lol!

Jillybeans, it was at 8.9 at 15dpo. I'm supplementing now with 400mg prometrium. I have no idea if it's helping, or if the second beta was good; they haven't told me yet. Waiting SUCKS. :)

Thank you. It's really great to hear that it's possible...I'm pretty much willing to hang my hopes anywhere right now!

With regards to incompatibility;

I had my DD no problem. Wouldnt it have affected it back then? I am not RH negative. My crohn's was in natural unmedicated remission at the time I had DD. This time I need meds to stay healthy. They are ok with pregnancy so its not the medication. However I really think it has to do with my immune system. I really do. I cant wait to see that specialist so she can figure it out. If it is my immune system, it can be treated to allow a pregnancy.

For now I wait. I am going snowboarding for a couple days on Dec 10th. That should be fun.

The soy is giving me headaches this time around and I am taking less than I did last time I tried it.

Hey miriam!  I miss you too.  How are you doing?  Yeah... it's been a weird month here. lol  The girls are doing alright.  There's a lot of stuff going on with all of that right now but they should be out and safe right after Christmas.  Not sure how i feel about that one....

Just checking in.....  12dpo....  so -

2 days till af.gif and drink.gif

OR

4 days till testing......whistling.gif

After the week I've had so far, I'm definitely looking forward to the drink.gif......  but will also be happy if I need to find an alternative.....  nod.gif

I'm so sorry I don't have the energy to do personals....  on top of normal work issues (and the fact that almost everyone on staff is p***ing me off right now), I found out one of my colleagues is UTD (from FB and students, no less!!!) - and while I'm so over the moon for her, I can't help thinking about mine that didn't stick.  mecry.gif

OTOH - I hope all you lovely ladies HERE are doing really well - and I'm hanging out to see some more BFPs!!!!!!  lovestory.gifgoodvibes.gifdust.gifsticky.gif

Alright.... I need opinions. I've got a case of the when-it's-an-important-temp-I mess-it-up-itis.... I woke up at 12:30am and my temp was 96.9 but it was my longest stretch of sleep which generally gives me my most accurate temperature.... but if I wake up again later and take it, it's usually not that far off (at most .2 degrees usually).... Well, I woke up again at 3:30am and took it, it was up to 97.3.... then I got up at my normal time and it was 97.5.... normally this wouldn't cause me too much strife and I would use my first temp. (So maybe that's my answer?) BUUUUUT yesterday morning I got that ALMOST bfp on my OPK so I thought later in the day I would get a bfp ... but no, it was negative (both times I did one in the day).... so I wake up this morning, use FMU for an OPK and it's clearly negative so I think "Hmmm, most have caught the tail end of my surge yesterday morning and already ovulated" so used the 97.3 temperature and figured I was out since we had crappy timing AND bad CM....

Sooooo I had ONE more OPK and figured "Well, I'm going to pee on it so it's not the house and I can be done with these stupid things and not obsess" totally believing that it would be BFN.... imagine my surprise when it was CLEARLY a BFP.... so should I just use the 96.9 temp and figure I have, indeed, NOT ovulated yet? WWYD?

A2E: Regardless of what temp you use, definitely assume you haven't ovulated and get to BDing lady! Though for the sake of FF giving you a correct O date, I'd use the lower temp.

So you don't think it's possible I O'd already? I think, after 7 years of this, I'm usually pretty accurate on knowing my O date but with the soy, I don't know what to expect. I don't think I would go from having STRONG O symptoms to NONE on it though (I hear so many people having such strong O pains on it and such)... I would imagine I would have SOME sort of BFP OPK though within the last few days if I O'd yesterday... so yeah, I'm thinking I didn't O yet and am getting ready to now! Yay!!!

A2E - I don't think I would use the early temp. That is what time some people go to bed! LOL What is your normal wake time? I think if you had at least 3 more hours sleep after the 3:30 temp I would use your latest/highest temp. if it was more like 2 hours I would use the 3:30 a.m. temp.

As far as O symptoms go, I had every single one in the book last month. That's never happened before. I never get O symptoms. It was really weird. I also haven't had a symptom since. I really feel like my body gave me that so that I KNEW I was ovulating, without a doubt.

AFM: CD13... Our BDing has been impeccably well timed this month... My calendar says O will happen either today or tomorrow, but I've gone commando the last two days because I've been off work so I can't check my CM. =D So I don't actually know... Hm.

Well, that's the thing... My husband gets up at 2:30 am so we go to bed REALLY early. We were in bed by 8pm last night. My normal wake up time is anywhere between 3am-4am. I RARELY sleep past 4am (it was 4:45) so I KNOW that last temperature is not a good one. I usually get up for the FIRST time at 2:00-3:00 and that's the temp I normally use.... but I was woke up at 12:30 for some reason last night.... but if I use the 97.3 temp from 3:30am, it looks like I O'd and the more I think about it, the more sure I did not... especially with this BFP OPK today... so while MOST people are just going to bed, I had been asleep for a good 4 hours at least, lol. .... I know we're lame and old!

I have JUST changed my temping time this month to when I get up for that potty break b/c I realized my temperatures were a lot more steady when I did that... and I almost ALWAYS wake up from 2-3 to use the potty.... but of course, the one night I wake up at a weird time, it's an important temp... isn't that the way it always works? Ugh!

Attached2Elijah...   I would use the temp with the most sleep behind it, probably try to pick up some more OPKs today, then collect more sperm as soon as possible. peace.gif

A2E - I think, if it were me, I'd use the earliest temp, since you had the longest period of restful sleep before it - especially since you got a positive OPK this morning.  Looks like you might be O-ing any day, so get to BDing!!  I'll be interested to see what your future temps will be...

A2E I agree, the 1230 temp would be the best and only a few hours earlier than normal :D  I am no charting expert, but what the pp say makes good sense!

Music: heres hoping you don't get to have your lil drink.gif this weekend lol  Though when the old rag shows its a nice to have a good glass of wine!

TTCCorC We are a day apart in our cycles te-he!

AFM:  CD14 and expecting to O in the next few days. . . Hoping we have good timing and I also talked to my honey about not wasting those swimmers this week blush.gif   lol

Why is my face mimicking a 16-year old boy right now? I have more zits right now then I have in the last 6 years... Combined. That bad. :-/

Mine usually does that during o time, though this time it did not (yay!), I think the maca I'm taking has something to do with it.
Also regarding your earlier post about morning sickness, I did not start getting ms until almost 7 weeks in my first preg; and before a + preg test with my second! Every pregnancy is different I guess!

A2E, it sounds like the first temp is the way to go! I know if I wake up much later than usual my temp goes waay up! I had to discard a temp last week because of that (I knew I was about to o, but had not yet).

TTCCorC - My face breaks out about a week after O.  Stupid hormones!

AFM - CD 2... waiting impatiently for AF to GO AWAY!  I'm actually happy that AF is here, though, because that means I get to start Clomid tomorrow - yay!!   I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much that the Clomid is going to do the trick, but it's hard not to.

I get acne right before AF, it's one of the symptoms. It's also something I recall not getting when I got my first BFP.
