We've pretty much decided the boy I'm due with any day will be named Silas, but we're stuck for a middle name. It was so easy with our first son -- the name came together early on, it flowed, and both first and middle names had meaning for us.
Â
Anyway, here are some of the middle names we've been tossing around:
Â
Silas David (DH's first name is David, though he only uses that with his family and work; everyone else including me calls him by a nickname)
Â
Silas Alexander
Â
Silas James
Â
Silas Victor (Victor is my maternal grandfather's name -- he died when I was five so I don't remember much about him, but it might be meaningful to my mom, who helped fund the IVF that created this baby)
Â
DH thinks that ideally the middle name should have two syllables, and I agree that when we "yell" at the kid it will be more emphatic that way ;) but I'm open.
Â
And if anyone has any other ideas, please chime in!
