wood blocks?

I'm looking for a set of wood blocks for my son for Christmas. Has anyone seen a great deal on blocks suitable for a toddler?

We have the imaginarium ones from TRU. They are cheap ($12 CAD for a smaller set).

DD has the standard unit blocks made my Melissa & Doug.  I paid about $40 for them at a local toy store.

Order some from Casey's Wood then finish them with beeswax or decorate them, or leave them plain.
