Weird Baby Position?

I've been trying the whole spinning babies thing but the more time goes by the more confused I get.  My OB says he's head down but his feet don't feel anywhere near his butt!!  I'm feeling what I'm assuming is a butt (large hard spot that rarely moves very far) up high on my right side.  That makes sense because of where his head is.  Occasionally though I feel what I'm guessing are feet all the way over in the mid-left.  Looking at a clock it would be butt near 11 and feet near 3.  About a half hour ago I felt him stretch out and it looked really freaky to have my bump distended out quite a bit in both spots. 

Anyone else have this?  I always thought fetal position meant tucked legs, lol.

That doesn't sound too out of the ordinary to me. If my belly were a clock I'd say it was about the opposite - head at 6, bottom at 3, feet at 11. That isn't an optimal position for the baby to actually come out in, but I think it's normal for babies in that position to turn the right way during labor.

Not weird at all!  My baby's butt is near 11 o'clock or so, and his feet have been at about 5 o'clock.  During my ultrasound on Sat., we could see him playing with his toes, right in front of his face. :-)

My DS had his butt at the top left of my belly, and his feet on the right. He would do the stretching too, sticking his butt out one side and his feet out the other... It would hurt enough that I'd poke him to get him to quit!

DD used to sit with her butt on my high left (so looking at my belly, at like 1 oclock) and her feet would stretch out at around 9oclock - and she has LONG legs!! So it sounds normal to me :)
