What silks would be good for wrapping?

I'd like to purchase some silks to do our wrapping in this year. Do you think the habotai would be the most durable?

Our playsilks are 8mm habotai and they take all kinds of abuse! I think they would hold up fine for wrapping.

Was trying to figure out what type of silk playsilks were even made from. lol  I want to make a canapy and dye it myself.
