Raynauds

Hi all,

I am posting for a friend who is experiencing a horrible bout of Raynauds. Her DD is 5 months old and she has been on Nifedipine for 5 weeks now and it started to go away in the right breast but never went away in the left breast. Now it is starting to come back in both breasts. She is EBF and is in so much pain that she really doesn't know what to do and feels like she might have to quit even tho she desperately wants to continue BF. She BF her first daughter and quit at 5 months due to what she thought was a low supply but now thinks it's because she pulled her daughter off early due to the pain.

Any suggestions?

It is often triggered by trauma or thrush - has she treated for thrush and seen an ibclc about the latch?  perhaps there is an underlying cause.

did she try B6 and calcium/magnesium?
