Hi,

I hope you can help me.

My bottom right molar, way in the back is all by itself (at the end),

because I lost the two teeth that should follow. It has a filling.

All of a sudden I felt something horible (sensitivity) when I was brushing.

I proceeded to look at it, and it seems that the gum around it looks swollen.

I am very sad about this, because if I lose this molar, I will have nothing back there.

I originally thought of getting 2 implants that would be in front of it, but I read somewhere

that they are not as safe as most people think. And if I got a bridge I would lose some

of my other teeth to accomodate for it. And since, I did not have the money for it, I never got it.

I recently started drinking green tea with lime juice every morning

and I also started taking a TBS of apple cider vinegar as well (for other problems)

So, I wonder if all of this is too much acid & I hurt this particular molar. If I try to take

dental floss & make a circle with it, to clean it, it is also sensitive to that.

If the underlying gum is swollen, does it mean it is infected?

Is there anything natural, that I can do, eat to fix this?

What do you think?

I quit coffee approx. 8 years ago. I used to love to eat chocolate, oatmeal cookies,

carrot cakes, apple pie, but I only have 2 or 3 slices of cake a year. No more sweets.

I also quit drinking sodas years ago. I did not grow up with sodas, but I acquired

the nasty habit of diet coke during my college years.
