Born at home in the water, Apgar of 10, 8lbs and 21 inches long, after about four hours of labor.
Wow, was that painful, but everything went smoothly and quickly. I felt more in control and aware this time than last time, and delivering the water was SO much easier than delivering out of it lying on my back (like last time).
Silas started nursing right away and kept on nursing for an hour and 15 minutes (until the midwives took him to check him out)! And he's been nursing really well ever since.
I'm in love!
