What else can I make with my rice cooker?

Rice cookers are great for cooking rice and all, but is there anything else I can cook in it?

I know I can do other grains (quinoa, oatmeal, steel cut oats) but can I do anything else with it? Like crock pot type stuff.

I don't have a crock pot any more. I am seriously contemplating buying one again because I loved it. It was so great to come home to hot meals ready to eat.

Roger Ebert (the movie guy) wrote a cookbook about using the rice cooker to do a bunch of different meals. http://www.amazon.com/Pot-How-Use-Mystery-Romance/dp/0740791427 It's not gotten very good reviews, but there are a lot of other similar cookbooks about using rice cookers if you click around on the page.

I don't do anything beyond rice & vegetables because mine is not the fancy kind, just a cook/warm option.

i have one and whenever i need a new recipe, i go to food.com. http://www.food.com/recipe-finder/all/rice-cooker-. I have a book and never use it. i mostly make mac and cheese in it and rice. i need to try a few more things now.
