I am not sure if this is the right forum for this particular question, but I can't figure out how to dress the baby for bed. We are in Arizona, so it isn't that cold, but it is cold enough for me to want covers over me. I usually wear the same PJs year round - but regular cotton knit pjs don't seem warm enough for the baby. The last few mornings have been 60-62 in the house - we aren't big on using the heater if we don't absolutely have to.

He cosleeps with us in a side-carred crib - so he is in the crib part of the night and snuggled up to me part of the night. He doesn't want covers over him and kicks off a blanket, even if I am right next to him. I had him wearing long sleeved cotton knit pjs with/or without feet, but his feet and hands seem pretty cold during the night and I think he needs a little more warmth.

It feels right to put him in flannel pjs for that part of the night that he is sleeping in his crib, but maybe too warm for them when he is snuggling. Is there a happy medium that I am not thinking of? Am I overthinking this and it is fine? Tonight is the first night I put him in flannel, so I don't know if he will get sweaty - I got the lightest flannel I could find.
