We are dairy and egg free due to allergies. And soy. So is it possible to make a vegan pumpkin pie? Recipes please?

Most definitely!! I will have to find my recipe and I will post it, I'm sure others will have some, too. My MIL uses banana instead of egg in hers, which is yummy, but just isn't pumpkin pie to me, know what I mean? It just doesn't do it for me this time of year. orngtongue.gif I made the mistake my first year of veganity of using tofu in my pumpkin pie grossedout.gif maybe it had to do with my recipe, too. I'm not sure, I didn't know a lot about cooking back then, but it was terrible - thin, watery, formless and flavourless.

My Mom sent me this recipe:

I just bought two vegan crusts from whole foods so I was thinking about putting that recipe in the crusts and then baking.

Here's another one: http://www.pickyourown.org/pumpkinpie.php I used ener-g egg replacer for the eggs. It does call for soy milk, but you might be able to get away with almond milk.

Google Bryanna's Vegan Pumpkin Pie Recipe. It's very good and it doesn't use tofu. I replace the sugar with maple syrup. I just made it actually. :)
