Which balaclava?

Hi all! Looking for a balaclava type hood for 6mo dd and maybe one for 3yo ds. Nova has the Ruskovilla ones for a reasonable price but it looks kind of thin and ds said it looks like underwear (it sorta does!). The Danish Woolen website has a yummy looking merino one (Nelson hat) that is double layered and looks oh, so adorable on the baby pictured, but it is $$$$$. Any advice?

I have seen the Ruskovilla one in person & it is one layer thick.  It was v nice looking and would fit well under another hat or coat hood.  But, yes, it is like undies, only one layer.

we have the one in the link above the lanacare nelson hat and its AMAZING, we also have the rusko one and its ok too, but its nothing like the lanacare its not soft really and thin, the lanacare is pretty thin but very soft and just amazing and worth it, we've had it for 3 years! It still looks and feels new. You wont be sorry if you get that one.
