Is there any truth in FSH tests? (Pre-Menopoause)

Is there any truth in those FSH fertility tests?

I am only 25 years old, I have had twins (I've produced two eggs) which is mostly common with women who are pre-menopausal.

I have bought some FSH tests, and I have read the result 5 minutes after the test.

It say's not to read the result after 10 minutes have passed.

Having had hot flushes and extreme tiredness, and an okay (for once) FBC / HB levels - I tested...

Here is the photo - And I can absolutely see a line - Can you?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those tests considered to be positive only if the test line is as dark or darker than the control line?  So, your test would be negative, right? 

Honestly, I would see a doctor if you are really concerned.  There are a lot of different things that could cause your symptoms.

The PP is right.  If the line is as dark as the control line the test is positive (not in a good way).  If the line is missing or is lighter than the control line, it's negative, and not an indication of a problem with your FSH.

If the test is positive, it's an indication that you might want to make an appointment with an OB/GYN or an RE for additional testing.

Absolutely - Thanks very much for pointing that out - I was under the impression as with pregnancy testing that even if there is a line, it's still a positive, However after reading these replies I looked at the instructions again and closely and if the test line is lighter it's still classed as a negative - PHEW!
