any medicinal herb book recs?

I am really interested in making my own herbal remedies (oils, tinctures, salves, etc.)  So far have made a few infused oils with directions from the web.  Looking for a book with directions but more important herbs and their medicinal uses.  Any recs?

Healing Wise by Susun Weed! She starts with a few basic herbs and herb lore...amazing stuff.

I feel that anything by Matthew Wood is worth it's weight in gold.  I love how he writes about the plants with such reverence.  I have two copies of The Book of Herbal Wisdom  because I kept carrying it back and forth from my office.

I also tend to like Rosemary Gladstar for herbs, but one of my favorite books that is all dogeared and loved to death is Herbal Medicine from the Heart of the Earth.  Love it.

I agree - I LOVE Matt Wood. His books are so incredibly in depth.
