We're on day 6 now. Dd will be 4 in a few weeks, and dh has it bad, too. What can we throw at this?
Â
Dd spent Saturday throwing up every 20 minutes, Sunday sleeping with a high fever, Monday with a mild fever, and hasn't been interested in anything but mama milk since (it's Thursday morning now). She's lost a lot of weight, and is really mellow, but it otherwise in good spirits. She's got explosive newborn poop, and I can't tell if it's just cause of all the milk, or if it's a food reaction or what. She reacted to a bunch of foods through my milk as a babe, but not so much recently. And she's complaining that the poop hurts a lot - she's got a bright red rash.
Dh is starving, but everything goes straight through him. He tried some meds (zofran) last night, but they don't seem to be doing much.
Â
I had it last week, but not nearly this bad. It left me pretty dehydrated and without a lot of milk, though. Ds (8mo) seems fine but dehydrated, constipated and HUNGRY. He hasn't clearly had it unless it's the same tummy bug he got 3 weeks ago.

So what can I throw at this thing for them? Herbs? Clay? Vitamins? Baths? Massages? Homeopathics? Probiotics? Cut out potentially reactive foods (I'm already on a pretty limited diet, but could cut out some stuff that I suspected in the past and am eating now).

and got some powdered probiotics and some sauerkraut. I really hope she eats more tomorrow. She's skinny!
