hings that tick you off

Thread Starter

I have been separated since Feb of this year. We have a 14 yr old, 8 yr old and a 14 month old. He is already living with his girlfriend. I am dating someone but have dated a couple others this year. Not sure if this is the one but dating you know. I'm in no hurry to find someone. i am enjoying my children, my freedom etc.

What really bothers me MOST is how my kids are with me 24/7 and he gets them overnight ONE night per week, on Saturday. He finally got to where he would keep the baby but only because his girlfriend will watch her (which i don't mind, like her). BUT other days of the week I'm always hearing about how he has naps every day, goes to bed early and gets up and goes about his day and she does the same. What about me? I am here with 3 KIDS and I get no time to myself except when they are in bed at night. That's it pretty much. i handle all the driving around to school and activities and everything else. I get so piissed when I call him and find out later he didn't get back right away cause he was "napping."

I'm no longer a single parent, but my ex still makes me mad.

He is in the Navy, so he no longer resides in the same state as us. Since we separated he has been on a deployment to Iraq, stationed in the Pacific for 2 years, and now lives in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. He has not seen the boys since last September, almost never calls, and ignores special occasions. DS2 asked him six months ago for a visit, which has yet to happen.
