Sharp-ish, achey pain near the top of the uterus at 20 weeks?

I've had an on and off again pain near the top of my uterus is.  It's about at my belly button and over to the right by about an inch or so. I think it's the uterus but it could be some other muscle or another thing entirely.  It's somewhere between a sharp pain and a strong ache and I can make it worse by pressing on it.  Does anyone know what it is?  I'm not concerned but I'd like it to go away and would be interested in knowing what I can do to help that along.  Rest?  Stretching?

Thanks!!

not sure from your description, but could it be a foot/elbow/knee/fist?

No, it's not the baby...it's not that kind of pain and the baby moves in a different spot.  It feels muscular - like a sharp muscular cramp.

Hi mama,

so I know you've already read my response in the DDC, so I'll skip repeating here- but I do think what you are describing is different than what I'm experiencing bc mine is not pain.

One thing jumped out to me about your experience- where you are describing your pain to be is about near your gallbladder. I wonder if you could be feeling gallbladder spasms? Any association to feeling the pain and when you eat? I had some gallbladder issues a long time ago, but I remember describing the pain as a sudden muscle cramp in my stomach (I was not pg). Gallbladder pain does get worse when you press on the area, like you mentioned.

I wouldn't worry, but I'd personally bring up any pain to your HCP next time you're in.
