Tips for washing and drying my Waldorf doll

My dd's beautiful doll got soaked by an overflowing sink :(

It's made with wool stuffing and cotton muslin. I know it can be soaked with a tiny bit of soap -- but mostly I'm worried about drying it. Will it mold/mildew? We live in a humid area, and if I leave damp towels in a heap, they mold or mildew, I'm not sure which.) Any tips?
