  1. Attempt to do all (necessary) shopping one or two days a week (Tuesdays and/or Fridays because thats when we get paid.) instead of "going out because I need something" almost everyday.

    2. Limit eating out to $25 a week (which is about 1 meal out a week and a lot better than we've been doing!)

    3. Put at least $100 into savings by Jan 1.

    4. Have at least 18 no spend days this month.

$6/$100 Eat out

2/8 Shopping Days

0/18 No spending days

thumb.gif Budgeted Spending/Shopping Day

biggrinbounce.gif No Spend Day!

duck.gifUnbudgeted/Unnecessary Spending Day

12/5 thumb.gif $40.00 Gas in the van/ $865 Rent and Internet/TV

12/6  thumb.gif $15 on Firewood (It was below freezing this morning!), $6 for my lunch at work

12/7  thumb.gif thumb.gifthumb.gif $121 Groceries, $240 Electric Bill, $40 Car Insurance

We got 3- 20+lb turkeys for $15 each and some organic juices for .99 a bottle :D Hopefully with what we bought we shouldn't need to do anything but put gas in the car until next Tuesday :D

First week of December spending $129, 3 no spend days, 2 planned spend days

Dec 6 - no spend

Dec 7 - irked.gif  unplanned spending.  Fast food, as I was feeling too crummy to cook and Dh worked late.  No excuse for this, though, as I've been stocking the freezer for the holidays and we had food in the house.  A $27 whoops when all was said and done.  Rotten.

Glad to read you were able to put it out before any serious damage.I had the FD out when my water tank flooded the house, and the gas leaked when I shut it down. I told dh for years we should replace that water tank before a mess happened.Ofcourse he was away on vacation when it broke!Enjoy your new oven!
