The Awesomely Fantastic ONE THREAD for November 28th - December 4th! 'Tis the season for BFPs!!! - Page 3

LovingBaby: That actually sounds like a good idea (working, that is)... I haven't worked since March but DP just got a second job.  Its the lunch shift at a new restaurant.  They hired him on the spot so I'm totally thinking about going in as well.  It would take my mind off things and it would be fun to have extra spending money for the baby we're trying to bake. orngtongue.gif

A2E: Oooh, your chart looks promising!!

bonadl2: I tried watching Dexter a while back but couldn't get into it.  Maybe I need to give it a second chance.

gozal: Bones is another one I was thinking about starting!  I noticed it already had quite a few seasons out because every time I get into a show it gets canceled.  Like Mercy.  Ugh.

Hello!  Could I be moved to waiting to O?  I'm on CD 8 :)

Savah, A2E, LovingBaby... I'm also 3-4DPO, so we're all cycle buddies. CD19... 8 days until I can test. GAH AF is due the 7th... *STILL WAITING*

LovingMommy, I also have ZERO symptoms. My boobs/nipples don't even hurt anymore, and they usually hurt from O to AF.

Mine too! DH and I have used withdrawal method for the past 2 years to avoid pregnancy and every month I'd be worried I was pregnant and I swear I had every pregnancy symptom in the book...now, I'm actually trying to get pregnant and there's nothing. Some sort of sick irony in that. :D

Stevi--It's going well.  The 1st 2 weeks of December are going to be packed full of concerts.  I told my Strings group that I see them more than I see my family.  They laughed but they all know it's true.  Even for those of them living with their parents still. lol

Hi everyone! Love the thread title, too.

I *should* be ovulating Friday, but it appears as though the flu bug has hit us and DS has spent most of the weekend sleeping on me and nursing a lot so we'll see how it goes.

Yeah Well today I am very tired, and had a headache and I have the odd cramp.  Have no clue wether those would be symptoms of anything other than working too much yesterday and not having enough sleep.

I am a bit of a control freak, and not knowing is hard!!!   I am sure just like everyone out there ttc.

I think we will have a bunch of girls POAS at the same time around here!  lol

HI Everyone!  Hope everyone is doing well. I keep having dreams at night, which I never have. They're not related to ttc or anything, but they are scary.  Dreams about people breaking into my house or the kids getting kidnapped. I never have nightmares so I'm not sure what is up.  I've heard some meds can make people dream - anyone know if that's a side effect or prometrium?

I'm 5dpo and doing well. Tomorrow is usually the time where I start obsessing but I'm doing pretty well. I've been distracted lately with other things, which helps. I'm trying to score some tickets to the New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys concert (I know, I know...) so I've been busy trying to figure out who all wants tickets with me and trying to figure out how to get presale tickets, especially since presale is on sale while I'm work with no access to the internet.  So my little boyband/relieving my teen years has kept me from totally obsessing about ttc!

So today is CD14, expected to O today, but since we started TTC I no longer have ovulation cramps, as I had for 6 mos before... So far just a few days of creamy CM. I thought I was getting EWCM this morning but not enough to say for sure, then the rest of the day, creamy. So frustrating, I started taking vitex and b6 this cycle, shouldn't that at least mean I would O on time... I'm trying to be patient! At least we have been really good BDing orngtongue.gif

I had a really, really weird dream last night, too. It was so weird in fact, that I forced myself to go back to sleep so I could keep dreaming about it. It was so weird and unrealistic, I even had a hard time explaining it to DH. I woke up sobbing because the dream was THAT sad and I almost started crying while I TRIED to explain it to DH. I hardly ever have vivid dreams. I'm not taking Prometrium though, so IDK if that's what's causing yours. =D

I've also woken up with headaches the last two days. Boo.

I've been having weird dreams too, but I'm pretty sure its just from watching too much Law and Order because all I'm taking is maca. orngtongue.gif

Those Law & Order marathons are addicting.  Gotta be careful!

Me and DH have been watching season 2 of the Wire this week.  I love that freakin show.  It makes me want to walk around all day saying "sheeeeeeeeit."

On the TTC front, my temp dropped today, 7-8 DPO, but not to pre-O levels.  I'm hoping it's a dip.  Boobs still sore.  I like this 2ww when I can imagine I'm a pregnant lady, whether I really am or not.

Congrats, TTCCorC!

I just realized one reason why it is really awesome that AF showed today... I have like 3 different work-related Christmas parties in the next few weeks, and now I can drink at all of them! Sweet! On a related note, a few days ago I found a really awesome way to fool people into thinking you are drinking red wine if you don't want them to know you are TTC/pregnant: use pomegranate juice instead. It looks exactly the same. I bought some recently and DH was having wine with supper so I had pomegranate juice in a wineglass and I didn't feel left out!

It must be the time for the crazy dreams! I had a dream 2 nights ago that just had me scratching my head. In the dream I woke up one morning and my stomach was moving (like a 6-7 month old fetus would cause). I started freaking out because (in the dream) I had been taking the pill for years and had continued to have AF every 4 weeks so there was no way I was pregnant. I started screaming in the dream for dp, who came and saw my stomach moving and freaked out. Took a pregnancy test and it was +. Went to the dr and he told me I was between 6-7 months along rolleyes.gif lol.gif At least in the dream there was only 1 baby- I've had so many dreams about twins the last 6 months or so.... it's a little unsettling! LOL!

Well, my BBs have started to make their presence known, so I guess I must have ovulated. I just don't know when...

So... eventful night for me.  We went to Target to get the things DP needed for his uniform for his new job and as we passed the electronics section I though "I should get a video game to pass the time".  DP tried to get me to pick one out, but I prefer buying used.  So a bit later after we got home, I went to Game Stop on my own and picked up Pokemon Soul Silver. orngtongue.gif  I haven't played Pokemon in about 12 years, so I thought it would be fun to play for the nostalgia factor.  So I get back home, plug in my DS Lite, and I get nothing but a blinking orange light and it won't turn on.  I google and it seems my DS is toast.  So I search Game Stop's website and it says they have some used DS Lites at their store across town.  I drive all the way over there and they are out.  There's another store on the same street, so I go there too.  Still none.  Oh, and they plugged my DS up to a new charger to make sure it wasn't my own charger but still nothing.  So I drive all the way back to the first Game Stop I went to.  They have like 20 in stock. eyesroll.gif  They tried to get mine to work, but wound up letting me trade it in for another pre-owned one so I only paid $43 for it, including a 1 year warranty!  Not bad considering it still had the protective sheets on the screens and looks practically brand new.  AND its pink. orngbiggrin.gif

So yeah.  That's what I did with my time tonight.  Drove all over town and then played Pokemon. LOL

LOL! That is sooooo something I'd do. Maybe you can beat the game instead of obsessing about TTC like the rest of us?! ;)

Oh yeah, it's that time of year again....  Anyone feel like writing 200 school reports for me?

It's fun, really it is - I love trying to think of all the different ways I can phrase language in a positive way to say "your child is a certified royal P.I.T.A.".

Oh wait. I've got it!!  "Your child is POSITIVELY a certified royal P.I.T.A."!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.gif

At least it gives me something to do while I wait to O....  orngtongue.gif
