Ds's seasonal allergies are not going away.

Ds is still having sneezing and stuffy nose, although it has improved since the weather has gotten colder, it is not gone. I am unsure what to do. We had our air ducts cleaned and fogged for dust mites and now have a UV lighting system in them. I am getting frustrated, as ds does not like taking otc meds, or the really any meds, and I don't like him using them for prolonged periods of time. Is there something I may be missing with his allergies? I took him to the dr. back in sept. and he wasn't much help, just told me to keep giving him otc meds or he could give a rx for something else, that we tried and it didn't really help much more than otc
