My baby was born on Thursday morning (yes thanksgiving) after about 8 hours of seriously intense labor. I actually slept/meditated through about 6 hours of it, 3 of which where I was actually fully dilated, but unready to push because of baby's position. It was scary/exciting/more than I could have expected and worth every moment (although I won't be doing it again soon). Been contemplating how to start my birth story, but it just hasn't come to be yet. I guess I'm just not fully ready to share it, but wanted to post here as encouragement to mommas that are waiting. You CAN do this and it will be totally worth it.
