felt CD holder???

So DS has an old boom box in his room and loves listening to music and audio books. I want to make him some mix cd's of favorite tunes and stories... and make a mama made holder for the discs. So my question is, if I sew a CD holder from felt, do you think the felt will scratch the CDs?

Hi Cindy - I took some wool felt and rubbed very hard on an old cd. I could see some barely visible signs on the cd, not at all scratching into the cd. So I think you'll be good and the cd played fine:)

Awww you are so sweet to do that little experiment for me Christine! I guess this was the wrong place to ask perhaps? I though maybe some other felt-o-riffic mama might have made something like this before? I will press onward and report back.

if making i would be aware that it could get bulky as there would be 3 pieces of felt for each page. Each page would hold 2 cd, one in the front and one in the back. So the cover will need to be longer than the sum of both pages.
