Dessert that is- GAPS- Dairy-Gluten-Egg-Nut-Soy-Starch Free

I think that is everything!  We are having a get together and some friends are on GAPs w/ a nut allergy while another has an Egg allergy.  I am thinking of some basic baked fruit or something maybe?  Anybody have an idea off the top of their head for something really yummy?  I also was considering homemade popsicles might be fun but it is Dec.

That is a hard one.  I thought I had it all figured out with a suggestion then the no starch got me.

I would just have to do a fruit salad and sprinkle some fresh pomegranate for more depth.

Yeah, really limits it.  I think maybe someone else is volunteering for dessert so I might be off the hook.  I did have in mind maybe some cooked pears, I've seen some recipes for those that look nice- cannot remember that is called though.

coconut milk chocolate pudding. I've never seen a recipe but I am sure it would be yummy. You could use a regular egg free recipe and sub with coconut milk.

Yes, stewed or baked pears in white wine are wonderful!

Also, plums halved, sprinkled with cinnamon and some kind of sweetener and baked are excellent. (We don't have plums this time of year, though.)

You might be able to come up with a baked apple recipe.  Core apples and stuff them with something like tahini, honey, and dried fruit; then bake until soft.

I'm not familiar with GAPS, so I might have missed something important here )

If you could just do a starch, you could bake so much yummy stuff.  Ack, trying to think...  Nope no ideas.  But subbing, yes!

Oh, I appreciate the thoughts.  I am going to town today and need to see what fruits are available.  I have considered something with coco milk- I think the Native Forest brand I have is acceptable- it only has guar gum.  We cannot do chocolate either though as that is on GAPs- or I would be all over the chocolate!  I think carob is out as well.  I was thinking perhaps of a dairy free caramel sauce.

Baked apples stuffed with cinnamon, nuts and raisins? Is any type of sweetener acceptable? Whipped coconut cream is AMAZING with baked apples.

No nuts of any kind, I don't think seeds are ok either- due to anaphylatic allergies.  I was wrong on the coco milk, it is not ok because the guar gum.  That means no whipped coco cream either.  I think I could do the apples with raisins though.  Only allowed sweetner is raw honey.

So if the honey gets bakes is that ok?

Yes, cooking the honey is ok afaik.  I know the GAPS family does coco flour muffins, but we have another family that is ana to eggs so any baked goods are out.
